Deja vu
7 May 2009
What can we say, we feel like we are cast in the sequel for Groundhog Day.
The ripples (they're too small to be called waves) all travel in the same direction every day, the sun takes the same route across the sky every day (!!), the clouds take the same formation every day. All in all it seems like monotony personified just for us! Even Duff's Delightful quotes are becoming a tad montonous ("It is a little bit Arctic" as she comes on shift naked!). The only variety in our day is the high pitch squeak generated from the bow seat depending on who's rowing on it!
You can imagine our hysteria and excitement therefore at the sound of the satellite brick-phone ringing. This was only to be replaced by laughter at watching gadget queen Fiona launch at it, but only for it to cut off every time she got close! The anticipation of who it could be got us all very excited, and we were sure it was going to be Charlie! Calling us, to say "Morning Angels, I'm sending you on a more exciting mission"! But alas no! Charlie had delegated to one of his subordinates, Chalky, and apparently we have to complete this mission first before we can progress to the more exciting stuff!
Being girls we crave what we can't have. And on today's craving list Jo wants Ben&Jerry's ice cream, Sarah wants goats cheese, Fiona wants kiwi fruit and Elin wants some gingernut biscuits!
The good news to report is the fact that the calm condition and sunny weather has helped to heal our sore bottoms. But as you know healing skin becomes itchy, and while we don't want to leave you with the image of four semi naked blondes scratching their bottoms ... we're afraid that's how it is ... so until tomorrow ... enjoy!
Diolch yn fawr i bawb am yr holl negeseuon. Roedd yn ddrwg gennai glywed bo nhw wedi gofyn ichi adael negeseuon yn Saesneg. Dwi wedi trafod y mater, a gobeithio bod bosib ichi adael rhai yn Gymraeg rwan. Os na gewch chi lwc, cofiwch bod bosib gadael neges yma ar y wefan yma hefyd! Diolch eto, a cofion cynnes at bawb yng Nghymru fach! XX
