Elin, one year on...

Difficult to comprehend where the last 12 months have gone, and the reality that we actually rowed the Indian ocean is only setting in now!! .We certainly experienced an amazing adventure, and one which we'll cherish for the rest of our lives.

The longing to head back out to sea is still as strong as ever, but for the time being my commitment is to finish my PhD. Getting to the last line of my thesis appears to be as difficult as that finishing line was a year ago. Made harder without all Angels around me continuously to make me smile daily!

We're completely thrilled about the money raised for BCC and want to thank all our supporters. And a big thanks to Ollie Garrigue for believing in me to sponsor part of the race costs. We only made it across the waves thanks to the support of family, friends and beyond. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Diolch i bawb am eich cefnogaeth ar draws cefnfor arall. Diolch arbenig i Mam, Dad a Gles am fynd tu hwnt yr hun a ddylsent i'm cefnogi. Edrychaf ymlaen i rannu'r hanes yn llawn efo chi gyd pan ddaw fy llyfr "Ar For Tymhestlog. Rhwyfo Dau Gefnfor". allan yn mis Medi. Gobeithio y bydd y llyfr yn llwyddo i gyfleu gwyrthiai'r mor ichi.
