Embracing it

It all started so well, as Wonderful Waller stepped out of the cabin completely naked and ready to start rowing; announcing that she was ready to "embrace it!". The other three angels looked at each other a bit dubious. This was not the day to be embracing the waves of the Indian ocean! Minutes into the shifts great big grey clouds loomed, the wind gathered speed and the swell grew. And before you know it, the heavens opened. There was so much rain that Elin thought that she was back in Wales! But true to her word, Fiona "embraced it" ... even when the bullet size rain drops bruised her skin as they fell so hard.

The day continued in pretty much the same theme. Big waves washing over us, big rain clouds pouring over us! It was a joyous experience all round, but we powered on, and went with the weather system, still high after our peach & pineapple party (photo attached!) and knowing that somewhere down there Eddy is waiting for us to party.
