Less than 400 to go...

Well how exciting is this - less than 400 miles to go and we're steaming along. Bit of a bumpy ride at the moment as the waves are a little large, but every one is taking us closer to Mauritius. We reckon we're less than 100 miles from land now for the first time in 2 months - just about to pass the little island of Rodrigues - perhaps we should stop off for a little well deserved rest!? Then it's only about 350 miles to go which we hope is going to fly by. We celebrated today with our last fruity treat - a delightful tin of pineapple - next one will hopefully be dacquari flavoured in a nice cold glass!

We hear the 8 man boat is due in this evening which makes arriving all the more real for us. Should be only about a week now. We've started trying to normalise and behave like civilised human beings again but I have to admit - we're in need of a lot of practise. So if you should happen to come across us in Mauritius, please be gentle, and don't mind us if we act a little strange. Not a single human being other than eachother for 2 months now - and we're hardly shining examples for eachother!

So congratulations to Aud Eamus - enjoy the beers tonight. We're very jealous but look forward to you all buying us one next week! ;-)
