Normality

9 May 2009

We're pleased to report that there's a breeze in the air, a wave on the water and Fiona is being titrated off the morphine - all in all which signals a return to normality.

Jo is out of her straight jacket and she and the bucket is recovering after their ordeal (although she did have a nasty fall while doing some leg bearing exercises in the middle of her 4 hour shift last night!)

Sarah has been persuaded not to throw her female looking jelly babies overboard and to enjoy them all equally. We might broach the subject of sharing with her soon.

Elin remains a dragon.

Rumor amongst the waves, tells us that Eddy's having another rave party soon. It will probably be in a difficult to find field or warehouse, but now that our bottoms are nearly better we're sure to find it! The Angels are never ones to miss out on a good party! We just can't decide what to wear for it.

Today is also rowing and cabin partner swapping time. The OAPs (Fiona & Elin) are back together on the oars, while the young ones are back together to cause a riot, no doubt. Fiona has also ventured for the first time to experience life in the ever smaller bow cabin (the insulation seems to be growing in there!). She mumbled her agreement in a drug induced state. We just need to find a way of getting Sarah out of there now ... suggestions on a postcard please!

To allow for the fact that we're speeding through those time zones we're also living the 8-10pm shift twice over tonight, and tomorrow we'll look forward to seeing sunrise at the usual time!

Faceboat is back - join us on the boat!
