Rowtec at the heart of the boat: We offer a range of products that are seen as the engine of the boat. Rails and Buggies, Steering & Rudders and Outriggers & Oars. They provide essential power enhancement and direction control. It all sounds a bit fancy but it means that more of your effort goes into your stroke and you go in the right direction. Simple really! All our products have been tried and tested so nothing is left to chance.
Weight: Obviously weight is a huge concern to Ocean rowers, why drag anymore around than is absolutely necessary? 1kg is equivalent to displacing a tonne of water every hour and can equate to many extra days at sea. All our products are as light as possible given the demands that they will be put under. The majority of these will be substantially lighter than homemade or modified options. But bear in mind that the average daily rations for freeze dried food, energy drink and snacks are in excess of 1 kilo per day so you can soon eat your boat lighter! You should not cut corners when it comes to products being fit for purpose and there will be a reason why some products are heavier by design. Just ask us why.
