Here you can find out about the fantastic people who are supporting us with their time and expertise and ensuring that we're fighting fit and ready to go come April. MASSIVE thanks to all of them from all of us!

Nutrition

We are fortunate enough to have the support of the Institute of Optimum Nutrition, and Joy Skipper, who are very kindly donating us their time and expertise to ensure we are feeding ourselves correctly both in the run up to and also during the row. We each have our own hour appointment with follow ups a month later to give us personalised advice and information. We'll keep you posted with any tips.

Personal Training

Dani has very kindly volunteered to support us in this adventure and make sure we are fully fit and raring to go come April. We have a weekly team session with her which is not only great for our fitness but also fantastic for team bonding. She will be fully assessing us and coming up with a programme to make sure we're physically ready for this immense challenge. We'll keep you updated with our progress on our latest news.

Training Courses

To ensure they are well prepared to deal with any eventuality, the girls will all have to pass their VHF shortwave radio, sea survival, first aid at sea, and ocean yachtmaster theory courses. These will take about 7 days in total and will provide the girls with valuable skills to take to sea - although of course they will be hoping not to have to use some of them!

Faceboat is back - join us on the boat!
